The bath house lifts itself like a frozen haze from the ground. From its inner core a warm light spreads out. It is a cold december day and the whole family bikes to the new swimming pool. My wife, me and our children have cycled along the park strip that binds together Ängelholms center travel center and baths. Here you dare cycling with the kids because threr are no car traffic. We arrive to the swimming pool, glass encloses the whole building and looks like a frozen fog, inside you see the warm light from the interior. In some parts of the facade people emerges like silouettes playing in the water. Cycle path leads us directly to the entrance. We put the bicycles on the bicycle parking and enter. We meet an airy entrence room with the reception in the center. We pay and enter the dressing room for the family department. After changing, we walk to a room which is full of light and green plants. From here you can reach all different functions in the house. Me and the children go to the adventure bath while my wife must swim a few yards in motion hall. We determines that we meet in one hour on the same place. Once in the bath experience the children becomes excited, we run around together and try all the different attractions. After a while, I need a cup of coffee that I purchase in the café. I sit down and enjoy in a comfortable deckchair and observes my children while they go to the big water slide. Looking up you can see the sky and tree tops. After a day of bathing, we begin our return home, but before we do that we eat dinner in the cafeteria at the entrance. From here you can see through the glasdoors to experience the bath where we just played, we have to promise the children that we soon shall come back. |
