"The differences are greater than the similarities. It's a bit like along one of the narrow streets in the old parts of Malmö. Details are also hefty. Handcrafted. Homey"

In April 2009 KKA in combination with builders Höllviksnäs Förvaltnings AB, won an open competition for passive houses. The competition was organized by the city of Malmö for the last vacant site in the Bo01 housing exhibition area. The project is the only passive house in the area and in order to give each house its own character we have given them a variation of cladding materials. Architecturally the houses are ‘linked’ by the use of similar detailing, which also helps to give the buildings their human scale and unique expression.
