PASSIVE HOUSES
Passive houses are extremely well-insulated buildings that are largely heated by the energy already present in the building - people and our household equipment generate a lot of energy. To predict and optimize energy usage KKA uses two programs: Derob-LTH 2.0, One of the most accurate simulation programs around, developed by Lund University and Texas University. Makes dynamic simulations of 3D models of buildings for any location. More info:
(Energihuskalkyl, A basic program which provides fast estimations of energy usage for Swedish locations. Used to certify Swedish passive houses.)
